We are a family business with over 150 years in the Luxury Watch industry, having worked with some of the world's largest brands.
Our main service centre houses 8 brand accredited watchmakers and a dedicated polishing department. We are proud to be one of the largest and most brand accredited service centres in Europe and were recently the subject of short documentary made by CNN International which was broadcast across the globe and was also featured in The New York Times.
Our main service centre at 88-90 Hatton Garden, London has been inspected and approved to the highest accreditation by some of the world's leading brands including Omega, Rado & Tag Heuer. Our team of 12 brand accredited senior watchmakers, Diagnostics & Quality Control team, Technicians and 3 polishers are led by Head Watchmaker Victor who was previous a watchmaker for Omega & Watches of Switzerland, prior to joining Luxury Watch Repairs.
In 2017, we opened the Vintage Watch Department based at our main service centre. This department is solely dedicated to the servicing and restoration of vintage and antique watches, pocket watches and clocks. This team is led by Matthieu who is our Head Vintage Watchmaker. After studying and graduating watchmaking in Switzerland with a specialised emphasis on vintage, Matthieu was a watchmaker for Cartier followed by over a decade at Chopard where he became the Head Watchmaker, prior to joining Luxury Watch Repairs.
We pride ourselves on our rapid turnaround time merged with the highest quality craftsmanship.
It is rare that any job is 'too small' and we are often able to carry out part repairs such as glass replacements, crown replacements, bracelet adjustments and refurbishment & polishing, without the need for a full service.
Battery replacements & waterproof testing is carried out the same day.
A full service is typically completed within 2-3 weeks which includes a minimum testing period of 5 days. A service or restoration on a vintage watch may take more time as we often manufacturer parts that are no longer in production.
The testing period for vintage may also be extended to around 10 days and this will be advised within the quotation.
